Three representatives of the Caledon Homelessness Partnership Citizen Advisory Committee will be delegating Caledon Town council this coming Tuesday (Oct. 4).

Father Larry Leger, Dr. Cheryl Van Daalen-Smith and Carmel Hili will be presenting the Committee’s field research on homelessness, conducted throughout 2010 and 2011. This research identifies the need for action in Caledon on the intractable problem of homelessness and precarious housing.

The presenters will share research findings and brief council on the Committee’s next steps, which include Caledon Community Services’ submissions for funding from the Ontario Trillium Foundation and the federal government’s homelessness initiative, administered through Peel Regional council.
