Candidate Di Palma wants more for youth to do in the community

By Bill Rea

Luciano Di Palma believes there’s not enough for young people to do in town, so he’s going to try and see if there’s something he can do about that from the Caledon council table.

Di Palma has announced he will be seeking the Ward area council seat on Caledon council in this fall’s municipal elections.

“There’s basically not enough for the youth to do in the Town of Caledon,” he commented, adding he’s been hearing a lot of complaints to that effect.

Di Palma is employed in sales. Married and the father of three, he’s lived in Bolton 11 years.

This is his first venture into the political arena.

“It’s difficult,” he commented. “It’s a learning

crown experience, but like everything, the more you work at it, the better you get.”

Reflecting on his chances in the coming election, Di Palma indicated things seem to be encouraging.

“Nothing is guaranteed in life, but I’m liking what I’m seeing so far,” he commented.
