By Lloyd Bittle

The New Year, 2010, promises to be bigger and better, and it's waiting for you at the Caledon Seniors’ Centre.

Come and join us to share and make our New Year our best yet! Remember the old adage, “Strive to make your better best!”

All regularly schedule activities are in full swing. You make it happen. Join us and make it a Joyous, 2010 Happy Centre New Year!

November and December were months to remember. Our successful bake, craft and silent auction, our many activity events and our participation Remembrance Day with the Legion and many civic groups. December was a “winter wonderland.” A grand dinner and dance, lunches and re-union with friends and family. Santa, gifts and carols. Thanks to all who made it happen. Remember, we do. The many who over the years have given their support to our centre and ensured each year was a better one. Many are the memories they have left which excite us to follow and ensure the future remains better than the past. With your support it will be. Our “best” is still to come.

A warm welcome to Nora Martin, our program chair, with a special New Year welcome to all.

“Happy New Year to all members of the Caledon Senior Centre and to all of you who could and should be members. We welcome the boomers and zoomers, anyone 55-plus. We have activities to suit everyone — 30 and counting. Why not join for pickle ball, (a fun new game like tennis, badminton, table tennis and volleyball, all rolled into one), computer lessons, dance for fun or a game of euchre or bridge.
