Doors were open to interesting places in Caledon
The Hills of Headwaters tourism region once again be participated in the Province's Doors Open program Saturday, and several of the sites on the tour were in Caledon, including Top of the Hill Bed & Breakfast in Cheltenham. It is operated by Shelley Craig in the oldest house in the village. Photos by Bill Rea Cheltenham General Store was one of the stops on the tour, and local resident Rusty Ephemeris entertained visitors on the back deck with the harp. Melville White Church, near Belfountain, was a peaceful attraction on the tour. Erin resident Wilma Sinclair looked over the graves of her great-great-grandparents William and Margaret Kirkwood, who settled in what's now known as Rockfort. |
