FARMERS MARKET OPENS IN BOLTON


Caledon's new Farmers' Market opened last Thursday at the Fairgrounds in Bolton, attracting plenty of people looking for good locally-grown produce, as well as crafts and other items. Mayor Marolyn Morrison was on hand for the opening, accompanied by Eat Local Caledon Program Coordinator Jennifer Clark; Laura Boughen of the Albion — Bolton Agricultural Society; Councillor Richard Whitehead; Sandra Dolson of the Town of Caledon; Councillor Allan Thompson; Councillor Nick deBoer; Vera Robinson of the Bolton Merchants' Association; and Dufferin — Caledon MPP Sylvia Jones.
