Mayfield Taylor Stephens

The 17-year-old Stephens is a twotime recipient of Athlete of the Week (first - Dec. 18), as a three-sport athlete with the Mavericks. The Grade 12 student is a libero with the volleyball team, a shortstop with the baseball team and a point guard with the basketball team. The hoops squad won their last game, 58-35 at the Brampton Christian Academy Feb. 4. Outside of school he plays hockey with the AA midget Mississauga Terriers and baseball with the AAA midget Brampton Royals (Central Ontario Baseball Association). The Brampton resident lives with his parents Steve and Ornella Stephens.

Humberview Dani Brisebois

Brisebois, 14, is a middle for the first-place Single Tier North Division leading Huskies junior girls' volleyball team (8-0). They won their last game of the regular season, 2-0, over Harold M. Brathwaite Feb. 3. The Grade 9 student also plays for the ACTS Elites volleyball team in Orangeville. She lives in Caledon with her parents Trevor and Deborah Brisebois.

Hall Elessis Dell'Unto As a middle for the senior girls' volleyball team (3-4), Dell'Unto was a crucial part to the team, though they missed the playoffs, coming in sixth-place in Single Tier North Division. During the spring, the Grade 12 student also runs track in the 100- metre. In the past, the 17-year-old has played rep volleyball for ACTS Elites and was a lifeguard at the Caledon Wellness Centre. She lives in Bolton with her parents Robert and Marcy Dell'Unto.
