GREAT DAY FOR JUNIOR FIRE CHIEF
 | | Victor Troiano, 8, of Bolton, had a full and interesting day Tuesday. He was the winner of the Junior Fire Chief contest, held by Caledon Fire and Emergency Services during Fire Prevention Week last month. Fire Chief Brad Bigrigg said the poster he created to win the contest dealt with this years theme, Prevent Home Fires. His was among some 340 entries. The contest was held in recognition of the 100th anniversary of the Canadian Association of Fire Chiefs (CAFC). Prizes from CAFC include Duracell Junior Fire Chief Turnout Gear, Futurnova MP3 Player, Sparky the Firedog Wrist Watch, Sparky Smoke Alarm, Duracell battery charger with batteries and an Official CAFC 100th Anniversary Certificate. "Victor had a ball today," Bigrigg told Town council, adding he got to tour the fire halls and ride in a firetruck. His six-year-old sister Vanessa got to accompany him.
