Open house at Mono Mills Fire Hall
 | | The fire hall in Mono Mills was a very busy place the morning of Sept. 13 as the firefighters hosted a public open house. Kids of all sizes are always anxious to get a look at things inside a fire truck, and Firefighter Andrew Wharton was giving them the chance. His daughter Kristen, 3, is seen here flanked by Dawson Gillies, 9, of Orangeville and Matthew Peirson, 2, of Mono Mills. The firefighters also offered breakfast to people attending their morning open house. District Chief Brian Zimmerman was working at the grill with Firefighters James Vanstrlen and Gary Pointon. The firefighters were accepting donations for the Multiple Sclerosis Society. BW Towing of Orangeville supplied cars that were used in demonstrations at the open house and Caledon East Foodland supplied the food. |
