Leave your heirs with an indepth understanding about the choices you made and the person you became. Where does your personal life intersect with history in the broader sense? Memoirs personalize the great moments of generations. Endow your loved ones with stories of the unique ways your life figured into the grand scheme of things. As you remember and gain perspective, you will come to appreciate the actions of others in new ways. Decisions your parents or your boss at work made may have always perplexed you; write your memoirs and see some things come alive with a clarity you never knew existed. Do not wait any longer. Caledon Public Library is presenting Shaping the Past: Writing Memoir, which is back by popular demand for a second engagement. This time there are four extra classroom hours. By the end of the 12-hours of instruction, you will be well on your way to producing a readable, relevant, enjoyable document of your life. The program is to start Oct. 7, and will run until Oct. 28, meeting from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. in the Computer Lab on the second floor of the Albion-Bolton branch of Caledon Public Library. The price is $199. Spaces are limited to 10. Register early to avoid disappointment. Visit the library Web site at caledon.library.on.ca for more info or call (905) 857- 1400. |
