Salvation Army will take part in weekend Caledon Kids Fun Fair The Caledon Kids Fun Fair will be held at the Caledon Fairgrounds this weekend (June 14 and 15). Once again, the Salvation Arm will hold a nonperishable food drive at the event. To earn free admission to the fair, guests should bring a donation of three canned food items for the Sally Ann. The food donations will help the needy in the Caledon and Brampton areas. The Kid's Fun Fair has rides for children of all ages and prize-every-time games; fair food and a very special free craft area for little kids; a petting zoo and pony rides, face painting and fun for all. Thrill Show Productions, Canada's No. 1 Demolition Derby, will produce a Demolition Derby Saturday night at 7 p.m. It will feature a full size pro modified demolition derby, a midsize straight demolition derby and a Lucas oil four-cylinder figure 8 race. Check the website for details at www.thrillshowproductions. on.ca. The Caledon Fairgrounds are on Highway 10, immediately south of Highway 24. There will be free parking. the grounds will open at 10 a.m. both days. Admission is $7.50 for adults and $5 for children. Carloads will be admitted for $10 before 5 p.m. and $15 after. All day ride bracelets are priced at a special price of $15. On Fathers' Day (June 15), all fathers accompanied by a child will ride free. |
