Rent tables now for the June 21 Heritage Yard Sale

Space is limited for the Peel Heritage Complex's (PHC) annual Heritage Yard Sale, which is scheduled for June 21 between 8:30 a.m. and noon.

Book one table for $25 or two for $45.

"Our Heritage Yard Sale always has a great turnout," commented Josie Premzell, development officer at the PHC. "We had over 400 shoppers last year. This year, it falls on the first day of the Farmers' Market, so we expect tables to sell quickly."

An auction will also be set up this year to showcase treasures from local businesses and community members.

All proceeds will be used to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Art Gallery and Museum with a publication that honours the collection and preservation of Peel's heritage by local institutions.

To rent a table or donate to the auction, call Lisa Glynn at (905) 791-4055, ext. 3657.

Other activities for the morning include the popular Cutruzzola Pancake Breakfast for the Arts, which takes place at Garden Square in front of the Rose Theatre, and new this year is Brampton's Lost River Walking Tour from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.

For more information on the walking tour or Heritage Yard Sale and auction, visit www.peelheritagecomplex.o rg or call (905) 791-4055, ext. 6211.

PHC is operated by the Region of Peel and is located at 9 Wellington St. E. in Brampton. The Complex is open to the public Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; weekends from noon to 4:30 p.m.; and Thursday evenings from 6 to 9 p.m. Admission fees are $2.50 for adults; $1.50 for seniors; $1 for students; and $7 for families.
