Bandits junior C home opener is fast approaching
      May 13 will see the first home game for the return of the Caledon Bandits junior C lacrosse team. The Bandits' opponent for the evening will be the Shelburne Veterans. Game time is 8 p.m., with the gate opening at 7 p.m. All home games will be played at Mayfield Recreation Centre.

Peewee Lightning close out season with tournament win
      The Caledon Lightning peewee Select team, having finished the regular season on top as league and playoff champions, played a final tournament at the Bolton Masters last weekend. The first game was Friday afternoon against their home-town rivals Caledon Blackhawks. The Lightning won 4-1.

Minor atom Caledon Hawks victorious at Milton tournament
      The Caledon RBC Royal Bank South Hill Hawks capped a terrific weekend of hockey by winning the brass ring at the Doug Thomson Memorial Spring Fling Hockey Tournament in Milton. They clinched the title with a 3-1 victory over the Waterloo Timber Wolves in the tournament final.
