Humberview Music's Spring Showcase tonight

The staff and students of Humberview Music cordially invite friends, family and patrons of the arts to celebrate the joy of music tonight (Thursday) at 7 p.m. at Humberview Secondary School for Showcase.

Featuring the sounds of Mkosa, a nationallyrecognized vocal jazz ensemble, the awardwinning Jazzork and a whole group of ensembles offering selections from pop to classical to jazz with a little world music thrown in for good measure, this concert will include highlights from the recent tour by senior groups of Florida, where Senior Concert Band, Mkosa and Jazzork were featured guest performers at the Magic Kingdom in Orlando.

Tickets are available in advance by contacting performing arts head, John Chalmers, at the school, through any music student or at the door. General admission is $8, with student and senior prices at $5.
