ATHLETES OF THE WEEK

Mayfield Scott Floujeh Floujeh, 16, is a bowler on the Mayfield cricket team. The Grade 10 student was on rugby team last year and he also played hockey in Inglewood for Caledon East IGA, before an injury kept him out both sports. He lives in Caledon with his parents Sarah and Bobbey Floujeh. Humberview Krystyna Thomas Thomas, 17, is the captain of the senior girls' outdoor soccer team and scored a goal in the team's season opener 4-0 win against Sandlewood Heights last Tuesday. The Grade 12 student also played on the indoor senior girls' soccer team. She is also a defender on the Toronto Junior Ladies Lynx U17 soccer team. The Caledon East resident lives with her parents Rod and Roberta Thomas. Robert F. Hall Julie DiFelice DiFelice, 17, is on the senior girls' soccer team, which are now in the Tier 1 division and want to make a big impact this season. Last Tuesday the team lost 1-0 against Notre Dame at Hall. The Grade 11 student also plays for the Bolton Wanderers FC U25 team. She lives in Bolton with her parents Trudy and Bernie DiFelice.
