Library plus Meals on Wheels adds up to great event for seniors Caledon Public Library is taking its Seniors @ the Library program on the road. The second Thursday of each month, from October to June, Caledon Public Library is pleased to offer a Seniors @ the Library program, which is usually held at the Albion-Bolton Branch. All seniors are invited to this fun afternoon, which features a variety of activities, such as a visit by an Elvis impersonator, Irish dancers or a stroll down memory lane with I Love Lucy. For June 5, however, the program will be travelling to the Margaret Dunn Valleywood Branch to cohost a special afternoon with Caledon Meals on Wheels Congregate Dining Program, Wheels to Meals. Once again, all seniors are invited to join and to help celebrate Seniors' Month with a light lunch, delicious desserts, lively entertainment and door prizes. The fun begins at noon and it is free. Seating is limited, however, so don't delay. Call or drop in to any branch of Caledon Public Library to reserve your spot. The venue might have temporarily changed, but as always with the Seniors @ the Library program, you are guaranteed a warm welcome and a wonderful opportunity to meet old friends and perhaps gather a few new ones. |
