Chamber of Commerce 22nd annual Home Show was a big success
Chamber thanks all who contributed to Home Show

There was lots to do on the arena floor at Don Sheardown Memorial Arena over the weekend as the Caledon Chamber of Commerce hosted its 22nd annual Caledon Home Show. Although final figures were not available by press time, Jackie Corbridge, events coordinator for the Chamber, reported traffic on the floor seemed a little lighter than in previous years, but a number of the exhibitors had commented it was the best show ever. "We're absolutely, over-the-moon thrilled," she declared.Chamber President and CEO Kelly Darnley was joined by Councillor Rchard Paterak, who brought greetings from the Town.
The Caledon Chamber of Commerce would like to thank everyone who participated in the 22nd annual Caledon Home Show, this past weekend.

Event sponsor Woody's Building Products Inc., as well as the door sponsors James Dick Construction, MARS Canada and the Caledon Perspectives are thanked for donating the wonderful door prizes and covering admission costs. Special thanks go out to Radio Caledon 105.5 for broadcasting live from the show all weekend.

Members of the Caledon Cougars Basketball Cub were barbecuing food for hungry Home Show patrons Friday night (top). Simply Caledon Community Services was represented by Case Worker Terry Wernath and Team Leader Caroline Petrie.(below).
Also worthy of mention are the Exhibitor Lounge Sponsors: The Consulate Dining Lounge, Zehrs, Garden Foods, Rock Garden Farm and Silcotech for providing food and drinks for the hard working exhibitors.

The RBC sponsored Penny Raffle proved to be as popular as previous years, and winning ticket numbers are now up on the Chamber's Web site www.caledonchamber.com

Thank-you to everyone who participated in the show this year for making it one to remember, we look forward to seeing you next year.

Binnie the Green Bin and representatives from Peel Region promoted the Green Bin program. Binnie was a big hit with kids, like Laura Picheca, 5, and her brother Joseph, 2, of Bolton
Local Pathfinders were barbecuing, raising money for their European Adventure in July. Leader Barbara Kent worked the grill while Pathfinders Robin McLeod and Kaitlyn Warner and Cadet Patti Hunter were serving.
