It was a thrilling Saturday evening at the Air Canada Centre April 5, when more than 200 Bandit family and friends gathered to support their 2007 tyke rep lacrosse teams.
In a friendly exhibition game the two Bandit teams put on quite a show for their fans with a close final score of 3-1.
For most it would be a once in a lifetime experience to play in such a spectacular setting, but then to be introduced to a record home crowd of 15,422 spectators was truly awesome. The boys were then left to greet the Toronto Rock as they were introduced to the fans; it was nothing but high fives and smiles by these seven to nine year olds that night. Although the Toronto Rock was unable to eliminate their opponent, the Rochester Knighthawks from the playoffs contention losing 9-6, it certainly was a memorable evening for many Caledon and Vaughan families!
Playing for the Bandits that evening were: Tyler Ellis, Samantha Hillson, Matthew Impey, Luca Mazzo, Christopher Mora, Gianluca Mora, Liam Rebellato, Noah Rebellato, Ronald Rout, Andrew Rybka, Nicholas Saville, Keaton Wilson, Owen Blount-Smith, Adam Brennan, Connor Chisholm, Matthew De Amicis, Patrick De Amicis, Paton Dorval, Evan Gray, Travis Mailhot, Noah Marshall, Bailey Rocca, Bryce Thompson, James Winslow and Hayden Saunders.
