Police have some tips for vehicle owners: • Always lock your vehicle, even while in your driveway. • Never leave valuables in your vehicle while unattended, even for just a few moments. • Park the vehicle in a locked garage whenever possible. • Never leave your vehicle running while unattended. • Keep your car keys in a secure location inside your home when not in use. • If you keep your car keys with you in the bedroom and you hear sounds in the driveway at night, your vehicle alarm could be activated from the bedroom to scare off any thieves or vandals in the driveway.
