Memoir writing at Caledon Public Library The motivations for writing a memoir can be as simple or complex as people themselves. Some write to reflect, to remember, to understand, to leave behind a written ancestral account or perhaps even to fulfill the desire to be a storyteller. Whatever the motivation, writing about your life is a natural and rewarding project and the time to get started is right now. Join Dr. Win Mellor-Hay for two hours Thursday evenings in June as she takes you through the journey that can enrich your life and the lives of others who know you. Sponsored by Caledon Public Library, this course will take place at the Albion-Bolton branch from 7 to 9 p.m. June 5, 12, 19 and 26. Registration is $139, a portion of which will go to the Friends of Caledon Public Library, the volunteer fund-raising arm of the library. All writing tools, as well as light refreshments, will be supplied. For more information, call any branch or visit online at caledon.library.on.ca |
