      The Caledon Blackhawks minor atom Select club Friday played the final game of the playoff playdowns, and earned the right to advance to the finals. The opponents were the Brampton Spitfires. Both teams knew whoever won would advance, and both teams were ready.

Hall figure skaters take third place in Aylmer competition
      The figure skating team at Robert F. Hall Secondary School may be small, but there's no denying they're good. Three of the members travelled to the fourth annual Skate Canada Western Ontario High School Skating competition March 4, and they came home with third place honours.
