Reel Cinema for a Real Cause opening night gala was a classy evening

Family Transition Place (FTP) hosted a black-tie, red carpet event at the Royal Ambassador in Caledon East, as part of its three day film festival: Reel Cinema for a real cause. Gathered by an imposing Oscar statue are Assistant Vice-President of Winners (the marquee sponsor) Richard Thompson, his wife Nancy, FTP Marketing, Communications and Resource Development Manager Sue Buckle and FTP Board Members Blair Russel and Kym Stezinar. Mayor Marolyn Morrison stepped up to the microphone to address a large group of dinner guests at the Reel Cinema for a real cause opening night gala, and expressed her support for Family Transition Place. Master of Ceremonies Jim Connelly, who has appeared on The Designer Guys, City TV's Breakfast Television and CityLine with Marilyn Dennis, added some Scottish charm to the evening. During dessert, guest were treated to screenings of Academy Award nominated animated short films I met the Walrus, Madame Tutli-Putli and the Danish Poet.
