ATHLETES OF THE WEEK

Mayfield - Samantha Cock

Cock, 16, was the goaltender for the varsity girls' Tier 1 hockey team who lost in the ROPSSAA Tier 1 finals against Loyola SS, 5-0, at Iceland in Mississauga March 6. The Grade 10 student also plays lacrosse for Mayfield. In addition, she plays hockey and lacrosse outside school in Mississauga and Brampton respectively. She lives in Terra Cotta and her parents are Debbie and Barry Cock.

Humberview -  Madeleine Clark

Clark, 15, was on the junior girls' single Tier volleyball team (4-2). The Grade 9 student also plays field hockey and indoor soccer at Humberview. Outside of school she plays for Brams United Soccer Club and Acts Elites Volleyball Club. Bryce and Brenda Clark are her parents and she lives in Bolton.

Robert F. Hall - Julia Craparotta

Craparotta, 15, was a defenceman for the varsity girls' Tier 2 hockey team, who lost, 2-0, to St. Francis Xavier SS in the ROPSSAA Tier 2 finals at Iceland in Mississauga March 6. The Grade 10 student also plays hockey for the AA Midget Etobicoke Dolphins. She lives in Bolton with her parents Frances and Lou
