Charges laid in fatal November collision

Caledon OPP investigators have charged the driver involved in a single motor vehicle collision that claimed the life of a youth Nov. 25.

The car driven by a 19-year-old Caledon man was southbound on Shaws Creek Road when it left the road, entered the east side ditch and struck a boulder. He has been charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death.

The mishap claimed the life of 17-year-old Desiree Meyer of Brampton.
