Plenty of fun at Mad Hatter's Tea Party

There were plenty of youngsters in colourful and creative costumes at the Caledon East branch of the Caledon Public Library last Thursday night. The event was the Mad Hatter's Tea Party, which was part of the library's March break activities. There was time for stories at the tea party. Maria Fargione was reading from Alice in Wonderland (top left). Kids got to take part in a scavenger hunt, looking for tea bags hidden throughout the library. Grayden Knox, 3, of Caledon East, found a couple (top right). Lily Hurley, 2, and her friend Sofia De Filippis, 3, were dressed up as the King and Queen of Hearts (bottom right).
Kids also got to work on some crafts, and Avalon Meyer, 4, of Caledon East, got some help from her mother Jen.
