Entertainment Extravaganza of music, dance and drama at Caledon East United Church
By Betty Ward

The congregation of Caledon East United Church is thrilled to present an Entertainment Extravaganza April 5.

The evening will feature music, dance and drama which will be a fabulous opportunity to build community for all ages.

In addition to the entertainment, we are going to have two auctions; one silent, beginning at 6:45 p.m. in Friendship Hall. A few special items will be auctioned during the program and we are fortunate to have Murray Stewart from Bolton as the auctioneer.

Cory Trepanier, a wellknown professional artist in our community, has kindly donated one of his reproductions on canvas called, Creek Side at the Killarney Provincial Park. The Elmer Iseler Singers have graciously donated two tickets to a Choral Gala, Songs of Springtime, May 30, at the Metropolitan United Church, as well as a CD called People of Faith, which is a recording of the Iseler Singers with Lydia Adams as conductor and the Canadian Brass. Local dentist Dr. Sylvia King has also kindly donated a Nite White Bleach Kit. One of our own members, Evangeline Leach, has also donated an original painting on canvas entitled Caledon Woods. These are only a few items but there are many more special ones.

Caledon East United Church has played an important role in our community for more than 125 years and we'd love you to come out and be part of the rich tradition. Refreshments and fellowship time will follow the event. Tickets are $10, and $5 for children 10 and younger. For ticket information, call Pat Oliver at (905) 584-2815 or Betty Ward at (905) 584-2189.
