Kingfest concert will be March 29 Kingfest Music Festival will be presenting its next concert at Newmarket Theatre March 29. He has 18 albums to his credit and has won 11 Juno Awards, as well as RPM Big Country and Toronto Music Awards. In 1993, he received the Order of Canada. His song Whispering Wind is the one of the most played songs on radio in Canadian history. Pat Robitaille is a musically gifted 20 year old singer and songwriter of folk-rock genres, who has played in concerts and festivals across the continent. Over the past two years of touring, he has performed with The Beach Boys, Ziggy Marley, Matthew Good, Our Lady Peace, Sam Roberts Band, and Eddie Money just to name a few. Poor Tom is a meeting of two worlds, Wanda Stride's Newfoundland and Susan Luke's Virginia roots. They have mined their classical backgrounds to create a fresh, lively sound of their own.
