SHORT STORY CONTEST WINNER
      Caledon Public Library announced in December the winners of the Elizabeth Scavetta Memorial short story contest for young adults. The winners were (first) Nicki Kwon, (second) Mark Jones and (third) Brendan Reid. The judges this year were Don Collins, Allyson Henley and Leigh Forster.

Zonta euchre evening coming
      The Zonta Club of Brampton/Caledon is hosting a monster progressive euchre night next Saturday (March 8). It will be at Snelgrove Community Centre, on Highway 10, south of Mayfield Road. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the games begin at 7.
