Region seeking feedback on report addressing transport issues

The Region of Peel has released Transportation Background and Challenges, a paper that focuses on transportation in Peel and invites feedback from residents and stakeholders.

"As part of the Peel Region Official Plan review, this paper presents information on some of the key issues that relate to transportation in the region, and aims to initiate discussion on how the Region should respond to these issues," commented Tom AppaRao, Peel's director of transportation planning.

Public input is welcomed on this and upcoming discussion papers. The input on Transportation Background and Challenges paper will help guide the Region's Transportation Planning division as it reviews and updates the transportation component of the Peel Region Official Plan.
