HELP FOR VICTIMS OF FIRE
The community responded to help out Bolton residents Fred and Margaret Hawes, after their house was seriously damaged by fie in December. The local CIBC branch quickly set up an account to help the injured couple, and branch Manager Terri Gomes Friday presented a cheque for $2,090 to representatives of the family Receiving the donation was the Hawes' granddaughter Aimee Hawes, son John Hawes, son Norm Beamish and granddaughter Tracey Beamish. Their son John said they are doing well, although they are still in hospital "There's road ahead of them," he said. Gomes said the account is still open.
