School board hosting info session to plan for children with special needs

The Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board's Special Education and Support Services Department will be hosting a kindergarten entry planning information Night this coming Wednesday (Feb. 6).

This meeting is for parents and guardians of children with special needs which affect their learning, such as autism, developmental, hearing, physical/medical and vision, who are entering junior or senior kindergarten this September. It will be in Room 301 at the Catholic Education Centre at 40 Matheson Blvd. West, in Mississauga from 7 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.

Junior and senior kindergarten registration for the 2008-09 school year will be held at all Dufferin-Peel Catholic elementary schools Feb. 25, from 7 until 9 p.m. and Feb. 27, 28 and 29, from 9 until 11 a.m. and from 1 to 3 p.m.
