Horticultural society to meet

The Bolton and District Horticulture Society will be holding its first meeting of 2008 Feb. 6 at the Albion Bolton Community Centre, upstairs in Rooms C and D, beginning at 7:30 p.m.

The workshop presenter will be Kate Agosta, past president of the Nobleton Horticulture Society. Her presentation, entitled Lawn Begone, will offer viable alternatives to grass.

The costs remain the same: free for members, $2 for members of other horticulture societies and $3 for the general public.

Note the changes in day and location for the society's meetings.
