Draw winners of books and movie passes

In celebration of the opening of the movie, The Golden Compass, Forster's Book Garden joined forces with the Empire Theatre by holding a joint contest.

Those entering the draw at the Empire Theatre could win one of two box sets of the entire His Dark Materials trilogy, donated by Forster's. Those entering at the book store could win movie passes donated by the theatre.

The draw was open from Dec. 7 to 14. Winners of the box sets of books were Mike Mijeskil and Isabella Curcio. Winners of the theatre passes were April White, Leanne Cadieux, Liz Grosicki, Kelley Potter, Sarah Niedoba and Tina Trevisan.
