Armour Heights building new bank in Bolton core

In addition to building the new five-star luxury condominium in downtown Bolton, River's Edge, Armour Heights Developments has begun the redevelopment of the old Harvest Market (previously the LCBO) at 28 Queen St. North.

Construction started in late December for a new TD Bank branch, as well as professional office space on the site.

"TD Bank was in need of a new branch location in the community," commented Frank Mazzotta, president of Armour Heights. "I saw this as an opportunity to provide a much needed service to the residents of Bolton, and also to help ensure the downtown core remains a viable entity over the long term."

To ensure it blends into the heritage architecture of the other buildings in the neighbourhood, the developer plans to incorporate a design in keeping with the surrounding streetscape of historic village, including cornice moulding and a stucco and brick façade.

The branch is scheduled to be completed by June or July.
