Scrabble tournament for kids Saturday

Is scrambling for words your idea of fun?

Then you'll want to check out the Scrabble Scramble fund-raiser this Saturday (Jan. 19) at the Margaret Dunn Valleywood Branch of Caledon Public Library

It will run from noon until 3 p.m. and will be open to youngsters aged five to 12. Tickets are $5 per child or three for $10, and there will be prizes, treats and fun for everyone!

Come on out and enjoy an afternoon of scrabble. Games will be played in junior Scrabble, intermediate and expert. Players can register at any branch of Caledon Public Library. A parent or guardian must attend in younger age divisions, but are not required to purchase a ticket to accompany their child.

Prizes will be awarded throughout the day with, one grand prize for the Scrabble champion in each division.
