Blackhawks down Coyotes 4-1

The Caledon major bantam select Blackhawks feasted on the Coyotes in an exhibition game at Teen Ranch Nov. 28.

The Hawks started the attack early in the first period on a goal by Christian Bonaldi from Warren Stroud. The Coyotes made a valiant effort to get on the board in the opening period, but were continually turned back by the solid goaltending of Joseph Viola and his defensive crew.

The team put on an impressive display of puck control in the second period, hemming the Coyotes in their own zone for most of the period. Their positional play was rewarded when Justin Lollino rammed home Andrew Fellin's pass for the only goal of the period.

The solid performance continued into the third period, when some fancy three-way passing between Michael Bellisario and Kyle Sammut resulted in Harry Gaebler popping the third goal. By this point in the game, the Hawks realized the Coyotes were road kill and a feed from Stroud allowed Bonaldi to finish them off.
