Caledon's WinterFest is this Sunday

WinterFest is the Town of Caledon's annual celebration to ring in the new year, and it will be taking place this Sunday (Jan. 6).

It will be from 1 until 4 p.m. at Mayfield Recreation Complex at 12087 Bramalea Rd., just north of Mayfield Road.

Mayor Marolyn Morrison will be on hand, along with members of Caledon council. As well, the Amazing Andrew the Magician will perform his special tricks and Annie Lynn the Clown will conduct face painting. AWinter Princess will be strolling the facility, singing winter songs and greeting everyone.

Morrison and councillors will conduct a ceremonial cake cutting at 2 p.m.

All activities are free, including swimming and skating. There will also be free hot dogs, drinks and cake.
