The folks at Charlestown Residential School, near Caledon village, are again offering Christmas trees for sale this year, and they'll even wrap them. Adam, a student at the school, was assisting Board Member Bill Evans, Executive Director Elizabeth Rekker and volunteer Art Rekker with this tree. Trees are for sale at the facility, at 19646 Kennedy Rd. In addition to the tree sales, the weekends between now and Christmas will feature crafts and refreshments from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Trees are also available during the week. For the second consecutive year, the Bolton Business Improvement Area (BIA) hosted its ice sculpting event next to the gazebo in the village core last Friday night. Rae Klumpenhower of Iceculture Inc. pulled out the heavy equipment early in the creation of her work. More ... The whole community was welcomed to breakfast Saturday at Credit View Public School, including Santa Claus. The event was put on by the Grade 8 class to raise funds for their trip to Quebec in June.
