The 51st CACY Show is this Saturday
The CACY (Caledon Arts and Crafts for Youth) Fine Arts and Crafts Show has been an annual highlight in Caledon East for more than 50 years.
It serves as a major fundraiser for the CACY Summer Arts Programs, enables CACY to supply art scholarships to local high school students, as well as showcases the wealth of artistic talent in the Caledon community.
This year, the show aims to focus on the CACY instructor/artist relationship that has long been promoted to the community.
The annual show will be this Saturday (Nov. 1), at the Caledon Community Complex from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and will focus on youth interaction with numerous art forms.
CACY summer instructors will provide free art classes, with a small materials fee, and a unique Market Place will showcase CACY instructors' distinct art mediums. Many other talented local artists will also have their work for sale, and a CACY Cafe will offer tasty lunch specials and snacks.
