Both movie and discussion spark lots of thought
Breakfast with Scot
      Last week's Reel Cinema for a Real Cause festival, held at the Empire Theatres in Bolton, offered some great movies, along with opportunities to think. That was aided to a large extent by the panel discussion that followed the Saturday afternoon showing of Breakfast with Scot.

Reel Cinema for a Real Cause opening night gala was a classy evening
     Family Transition Place (FTP) hosted a black-tie, red carpet event at the Royal Ambassador in Caledon East, as part of its three day film festival: Reel Cinema for a real cause. Gathered by an imposing Oscar statue are Assistant Vice-President of Winners (the marquee sponsor) Richard Thompson, his wife Nancy, FTP Marketing, Communications and Resource Development Manager Sue Buckle and FTP Board Members Blair Russel and Kym Stezinar.

Shari Penty has been in the educating field for many years and since 1986 has called Peel District School Board her home. Police urging parents to see to the street proofing of their children
      As everyone patiently awaits the arrival of spring, Caledon OPP recommend parents take time to talk to their children about protecting themselves from strangers on the streets. As the nicer weather approaches, children are out on the streets, walking to school, riding their bikes and playing in the neighbourhoods.

Yard waste collection in Caledon will resume March 31
      Peel Region's yard waste collection services will resume March 3 in Caledon's settlement areas and rural subdivisions. Yard waste will be collected every other week from April to November only.
