Two ground signs approved
Shell Canada Products was recently granted a sign variance for 12016 Airport Rd. in Tullamore.

The company applied to erect two ground signs, which exceeded the number permitted under the sign bylaw.

Shell is constructing a new combination gas station and Tim Hortons at the northwest corner of Airport Road and Mayfield Road with entrances from both roads.

One sign will face Mayfield Road and the other sign will face Airport Road. Each sign will be 23.2 feet high.

Town staff commented the variance requested is minor in nature and meets the general intent of the sign bylaw.
