Peel Region is on holiday hours until the New Year Many Region of Peel offices and non-emergency services are closed for the holidays, and will re-open on Jan. 2. The information below describes hours of operation for Regional services during the holiday period. There will be no waste collection in Caledon Jan. 1. Garbage, recycling material and organics (in designated areas) will be collected one day later during that week. The Region of Peel's Community Recycling Centres will be closed Dec. 26; Dec. 30 (Bolton and Caledon Only); Dec. 31; and Jan. 1. Ontario Works in Peel and Employment Resource Centres are closed and will re-open Jan. 2. The Peel Heritage Complex (PHC) will be closed Dec. 26 and 31, as well as Jan. 1. It will be open Dec. 27 and 28 from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and hold regular hours of operation Dec. 29 and 30. The PHC will resume regular hours of operation Jan. 2. The TransHelp office will be closed Dec. 26, and Jan. 1. The office will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 31. Transit service will be available Dec. 26 and Jan. 1 from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.; and Dec. 31 from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. (last pick-up at 1 a.m.). Full services resume Jan. 2. Peel Health reception at 44 Peel Centre Dr. will be closed Dec. 26 and Jan. 1. All Peel Public Health Breastfeeding Clinics operate by appointment only. The Breastfeeding Clinic at the Meadowvale Town Centre and Peel Public Health Breastfeeding Clinic in Brampton will be open Dec. 27 and 31 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for booked appointments only. The Meadowvale and Brampton clinics will be closed Dec. 26 and 28, and Jan. 1, and resume regular operating hours Jan. 2. The breastfeeding clinic in Bolton will be closed Dec. 29 and Jan. 1, and resume regular hours of operation Jan. 5. |
