Caledon peewee AE Hawks win two more

The Caledon peewee AE Hawks came out strong against Orangeville Flyers Nov. 21.

Jonas Cadham scored shorthanded in the first period to start things rolling. Justin Core followed with a great goal early in the second. Then Mitchell Bulloch put one in off a beautiful, three-way play from Deacon Strachan and Cadham. In the third period, Austin Pugliese started the action with a goal, assisted by Bulloch and Cadham. Matthew Mijackovic achieved a remarkable natural hat trick with assists from Pugliese and Andrew Zunic on the first, Marco Olivieri and Zunic on the second, and Core on the third. Bulloch wrapped up the scoring with the team's eighth goal, assisted by Core leaving the score at 8-2.

They faced Stoney Creek Warriors Nov. 26 who burst out strong, outshooting the Hawks 8-4 in the first period, but two of those four turned into goals for the Hawks - Pugliese off Mijackovic and Andrew Ferguson, and then Ferguson scored off Pugliese and Cadham. In the second period the Hawks stepped things up with a goal by Zunic off Core and another by Cadham from Ferguson and Matthew Bartling.

In the final period Bulloch shot an impressive goal with the help of Pugliese, Ferguson, and Andrew Tee. Corey French followed suit with a nice one from Zunic and Mijackovic. Then Cadham got the seventh and final goal off a pass from Bartling ending it 7-2.
