Local employment services gather in Bolton

Representatives from local employment services gathered at the vpi Caledon Employment Assessment Centre recently to discuss programs and services available to town residents.

Representatives included vpi Caledon Employment Assessment Centre, Job Skills SIMFIT program, Costi Immigration Services, YMCA Targeted Wage Subsidy and Job Development Support Services, Employment Access, Family Services of Peel, vpi Orangeville Employment Assessment Centre and Humber College Career Exploration Centre.

The vpi Caledon Employment Assessment Centre provides services free of charge for individuals who are unemployed or work less than 20 hours per week. Services include referrals for skills development, self-employment benefit program, career decision making programs, job searching assistance and much more.
