Many drug charges laid

Several Caledon residents were charged with drug-related offences following an afternoon raid on a Caledon home.

Wednesday, Nov. 21 at roughly 3:05 p.m., Caledon OPP Street Crime and Crime Unit members, assisted by Caledon Community Response and platoon officers, executed a drug warrant at 13473 Creditview Rd. in Caledon.

As a result of the warrant, marijuana and hash oil were seized as well as an undisclosed quantity of cash as offence related property.

Five people were charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking - Marijuana; Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking- Hash Oil; Possession of a Controlled Drug - Marijuana; Possession of a Controlled Drug - Hash Oil.

Facing charges in court Jan. 7 are 49-year-old Steve Myers of Caledon, 50-year-old Karen Myers of Caledon, 32-year-old Janet Gilbert of Caledon, 38-year-old Shawn Gilbert of Caledon, 40-year-old Gerard Myers of Brampton.
