King's College hosts Salvatore Gambino in concert

King's College School hosts the second in the Palgrave Magnificent Music Concert series Sunday, Dec. 9 at 7 p.m. Begin the holiday season with an evening of song with tenor, Salvatore Gambino.

Gambino is a very talented tenor in his final year of a Bachelor's degree in Music Performance at the Glenn Gould School of the Royal Conservatory of music in Toronto. He also performs with the acclaimed Canadian Trio, The Three Young Tenors. Salvatore studies vocal music quite simply because he loves to sing. Singing is his life and his vision.

Salvatore and his accompanist will provide an evening which will start with traditional folksongs from Napoli, then move into favorite pieces from the world stage. After a brief intermission Salvatore whisks the audience into the magical world of musical theatre with selections from Guys and Dolls, Phantom of the Opera, West Side Story and the Three Penny Opera before finishing with a collection of songs from Frank Sinatra including some beloved holiday favorites.

Tickets can be obtained in advance by calling King's College School at 905-880-7645 or at the door. They're located at 16379 The Gore Road, Palgrave. Tickets are $25 for adults, $15 for students.
