Caledon minor atom AE Hawks draw in home opener
      The Caledon RBC Royal Bank South Hill Hawks and the Brantford Church Saints played to a 2-2 draw in the Hawks regular season home opener. The Hawks opened the scoring mid-way through the first period as Mark Guaragna banged in a rebound off a nifty deke by Dylan Frail.

Peewees fight back for 5-5 draw
      Caledon Lightning peewees turned the game around and made a brilliant comeback recently. Facing the Brampton Spitfires the score evened to a 5-5 draw at the Powerade Centre. After a shaky start with numerous shots on goal at both ends, the first period closed 1-0 in Brampton's favour.

Maverick of the Week
      Jonathan Settembri is the Mayfield Maverick Athlete of the Week. Jonathan, 14, excels in crosscountry running. He finished fourth in an invitational meet at Centennial Park and 13th in a pre-OFSAA meet in Niagara recently.

R.F. Hall Wolfpack football teams are in high gear this season
      Robert F. Hall welcomed in a new year for football this fall. Once again, Hall was split into a junior and senior program. Both teams were able to field a squad of 45 players. In the September preseason, Hall welcomed the Senior team from St. Joseph's for an exhibition scrimmage.
