Appalled by Hoy

In this country we are a democracy. We have many levels of government. We have legislature. We do things democratically.

We do not spout hatred and right wing philosophy. If Claire Hoy (Unborn aren't given much of a chance, Oct. 31) has an issue with abortion (and of course this is his right) he must use the legitimate tool provided through the democratic process! The fact that this paper has chosen to give Mr. Hoy free rein to express his very personal opinion is both shocking and revolting!

Mr. Hoy is a coward. If Mr. Hoy was not a coward he would be using his democratic right as a citizen of this country to change the way in which this government deals with abortion. Abortion is the choice a female person has to make! The choice is made between the woman, her doctor and her God!

I am appalled and sickened that in this day and age there are still people like Mr. Hoy who want to deny women their rights, guaranteed under the Charter. Mr. Hoy, whatever dark rock you climbed out from under, please go back under it!
