Seasons Christmas Show sparkles with festive ideas

For inventive entertaining ideas, unique gift suggestions and divine décor, the third annual Seasons Christmas Show®, Nov. 16-18 at the International Centre in Mississauga, brims with festive creativity and pure inspiration.

Celebrity culinary and décor experts will provide a wealth of advice on how to create a memorable holiday experience, with over 150 specialty exhibitors providing a spectacular shopping experience filled with seasonally themed products and services.

The Toronto Star Sensations Theatre features daily presentations by a prestigious line-up of best-selling authors, renowned chefs and TV personalities.

Anthony Sedlak, host of Food Network's new series The Main premiering this fall, will turn his culinary skills to trendy seasonal cuisine ideas for today's holiday entertaining. Anthony was given the chance to host his own series after winning Food Network's Superstar Chef Challenge II.

John Reeves of Reeves Florist and Nursery in Woodbridge, and a regular guest on Citytv's CityLine, will repeat his dual role at Seasons as a theatre presenter and creator of the stunning Festival of Trees display, where each tree makes its own unique design statement.

David Steel and Ryan Jennings, authors of the best-selling Cooking With Booze cookbook, will demonstrate how to use the liquor cabinet as an extension of the spice rack in a lively presentation that celebrates eating and drinking.

Glenn Dixon of the W Network's Take This House and Sell It has a true passion for interior design and helping people discover their own sense of style, and he loves Christmas. Toronto-based, Glenn is also a successful clothing designer and founder of Dixon Doyle Design.

Style at Home's design editor and regular guest on CityLine, Samantha Pynn, will offer trendy do-it-yourself ideas for seasonal home decorating using samples from the Seasons' show floor and an easy-to-follow road map for making your home the best dressed place of the season.

Visitors can nibble on gourmet goodies, enjoy seasonal beverages, glean holiday entertaining tips and shop the show for imaginative holiday gifts, decor and services.

It will be held Nov. 16 through 18 at the International Centre, Arrow Hall. It runs Friday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $12 for adults; $10 for seniors (65+) and youth (13-17). Tickets can be purchased at the door or save $3 by ordering online at www.seasonsshow.com. Parking is free.
