Bantam Lightning selects down Spitfires

Saturday, Oct. 27 at Inglewood arena the boys met the Brampton Spitfires and played like they were on fire! It was a very exciting game with a lot of action and hard work.

The Lightning goaltender, Jamie Corbett played fantastic, facing 20 shots, most of them very difficult ones. In the 1st period Spencer Bernard scored unassisted at 8:55 and again at 2:24 (assisted by Adam Scott) Lightning up 2 - 0 after the 1st period. In the 2nd period Jacob Hogan scored for the Lightning assisted by Kristian McMillan and Adam Scott. The 3rd period the Spitfires scored their only goal. This was answered with a Lightning goal by Matt Mair with assistance from Geoff Lyons. Final score Lightning 4, Spitfires 1.

The team had a vote and named Jacob Hogan Captain and the following boys as alternates: Connor Bowles, Geoff Lyons, Matt Mair.
