Denis Flanagan at horticultural society evening Thursday, Nov. 15
By Patti Baker

Thursday, Nov. 15, the Bolton & District Horticultural Society will end the 2007 season with a visit by TV personality and former gardener to British royalty, Denis Flanagan.

A jovial and entertaining speaker, Flanagan will be sharing his knowledge of the care of tropical plants to the audience at the Caledon Centre for Recreation & Wellness at 7:30 p.m. and guests are advised to arrive early to ensure good seats.

The evening is free to members of the B&DHS, $3 to the public and $2 to members of other horticultural societies. Now is a good time to purchase a 2008 membership for the low price of $15 per person or $20 for a family. Meetings will resume in February 2008 and the speaker program will be of great interest to both novice and seasoned gardeners alike. For further information, please contact Cathy at 905- 857-1460.
